Birgül Karakoç

M.D. Birgül Karakoç is a board-certified specialist in gynecology and obstetrics with a medical degree from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (1999). She has been a member of the Acıbadem Health Group since 2018, where she provides comprehensive care in women’s health including obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive and robotic techniques, and pelvic floor disorders. M.D. Karakoç is actively involved in professional organizations that reflect her broad clinical interests and commitment to advancing care: Turkish Gynecology and Obstetrics Society; Turkish Society of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery; Turkish Society of Gynecologic Endoscopy; Society for Reproductive Medicine; Turkish Perinatology Association Fetal Medicine Association; Turkish Medical Association Istanbul Medical Chamber; TSRM; and the Society of European Robotic Gynecological Surgery. She focuses on patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and the integration of modern surgical technologies to improve outcomes and quality of life for women across all life stages.
