Trilogy

The linear accelerator (LINAC) is comprised of three separate radiotherapy modalities: IGRT, IMRT and SRT/SRS. It is used for diagnosis and treatment and offers patients significant advantages. IGRT is used for the application of image-guided radiotherapy. IMRT is used to administer intensity-modulated radiation, which allows the intensity of the radiation applied to the areas receiving treatment to be adjusted to attain ideal doses. While the tumor is exposed to high doses of radiation, healthy tissue is protected as much as possible. SRT/SRS technology is used to apply pinpoint radiotherapy.
